Margaret Hardwick, who lived here as a child, points out that it is now an Alpaca stud, run by Julie and Andy Wilson. Her comment is:
It has lots more buildings than when I was a child. The house is the low brown building running next to the large white shed which must be for the alpacas. Joan told me they had built a mudbrick wing on to to the house. Dad’s old barn is still there with a white extension on the back — the road goes straight up the hill to it. I fell in the creek down the hill from the shed when I was little and ever since have had an aversion to water closing over my head.
